Part 1: The SLEEPING BAG RAPIST drugs his victims and leaves them zipped in one at the edges of dark parking lots. When Sissy’s and Whizzer’s friend, Dixie Hatcher, is a victim, they call insurance investigator Dan Ballantine to help them find the rapist.

While visiting his university history professor, Dan learns something bad is happening in Wuhan, China. Lansing Ballantine has several pre-lockdown ideas.

Part 2: In DIXIE AND DEREK, the young woman is terrorized by her ex-husband. Sissy and Whizzer again call on Dan for assistance. He effects Derek’s arrest and guides Dixie through the criminal prosecution.

Part 3: Dixie becomes an annoyance to Sissy and Whizzer, and the sisters tell Dan they want to join him wherever he may be locked down. Dan knows his travel trailer is too small for three adults and two dogs, so he calls an old friend that has a mountain cabin northeast of Boise, Idaho.

For their first traveling day together, Dan decides to show his guests the TREGO HOT SPRINGS on the edge of the Black Rock Desert. Two bad men, cartel drug distributors, attempt to rob the trio.

While Dan and the sisters enjoy the national lockdown and plenty of fresh rainbow trout in their mountain hideaway, a cartel killer searches for them.
